Abstract
Wide-span optical frequency reference grids (OFRG) are required as markers for accurate control and sweep of lightwave frequency. The OFRG covering 0.3–1.7 μm wavelength region has been realized by employing the technique of nonlinear optical frequency conversion, e.g., SHG, SFG, and DFG, of highly coherent semiconductor lasers by using inorganic crystals.1
