Abstract

Storage ring is regarded as one of the most favorable accelerators for short-wavelength free-electron lasers (FELs) because of its excellent beam quality at high energy. Research on FELs has been carried out on two storage rings, TERAS and NIJI-VI, at the Electrotechnical Laboratory (ETL). The above two FELs are briefly reviewed in the following.
