Ar2 Excimeremission from Laser-Heated Plasma

Abstract

A pump scheme for a practical Ar2 excimer laser operating at 126 nm is investigated. In this scheme, pre-ionized high-pressure Ar gas was excited by intense CO2 laser radiation, and obtained the emission from Ar2 excimers is obtained experimentally.
