Development of a compact THz-wave parametric generator system including a pump source

Abstract

We developed a diode-pumped, Q-switched Nd:YAG laser as a pump source for a THz-wave parametric generator (TPG). A compact TPG system was realized by using this laser, and the broadest THz-wave spectrum (1.2-2.4 THz) was obtained.
