High-resolution photorefractive incoherent-to-coherent optical converter and its application

Abstract

We demonstrate a novel photorefractive incoherent-to-coherent optical converter, which has a resolution as high as 283 line pairs/mm. The converter can be used to transmit a white light image through a thick dynamic distorter.
