Fourth-order dispersion compensation using a periodically polled LiNbO3 optical phase conjugator

Abstract

We demonstrate transmission of ultra-short pulse as short as 250 fs over 66 km by midway optical phase conjugation using a periodically polled LiNbO3 waveguide. The transmitted pulses suffer negligible distortion in temporal waveforms.
