Optically Induced Orientation Processes In Photochromic Isomers

Abstract

We report on the photo-orientation of Spiropyran(SP) and Diarylethene(DE)-type chromophores in films of poly-methyl-methacrylate(PMMA), and we quantify coupled photoisomerization and photo-orientation in these systems.
