Abstract
An external-cavity generation of powerful ultrashort pulses near 1.3 µm in all-fiber scheme by using a new type of phosphosilicate polarization maintaining fiber is investigated. The phosphorus-related Stokes shifted Raman pulse is observed. Its optical spectra are measured as a function of energy and chirp of the pump pulses and output coupling ratio. The output energy of compressible highly-chirped pulses reaches 0.67 nJ.
