Nano-antennas on tapered fiber: a new and flexible approach

Abstract

This paper proposes a new and flexible approach to control the electric field enhancement of bow-tie nano-antennas by integrating them on the lateral of a ~ 9 µm tapered optical fiber. The device may find applications in bio-sensing and imaging.
