Large Area, Broadband, and Polarization-Sensitive Photodetectors Based on Aligned Carbon Nanotubes

Abstract

We have studied the photoresponse of highly aligned carbon nanotube devices in the visible, near-infrared, and mid-infrared. Using different metal combinations for electrodes, we designed detectors that work up to 10 µm under global illumination.
