Annealing Effects on Bismuth Active Centers in Bi/Er Co-doped Fiber

The annealing effects on bismuth active centers (BACs) in Bismuth/Erbium co-Doped Fiber (BEDF) have been investigated. We observed that annealing affects significantly the absorption and emission characteristics of the BACs, especially BAC-Si, in the BEDF.
