Core-Pumped All-Normal-Dispersion Ytterbium-Doped Femtosecond Fiber Laser around 976 nm

Abstract

We report a core-pumped passively mode-locked ytterbium-doped fiber laser operating around 976 nm. The pulse is compressed to 250fs, and the pulse energy is 1 nJ. The slope efficiency is more than 19%.
