Ultrasensitive ultrasound sensing using optical microcavities in the dissipative mechanism

Abstract

We study an ultrasound sensor using the dissipative interaction in an optical microcavity-microfiber coupling system. The sensitivity of this dissipative microcavity is demonstrated to be insensitive to Q factors.
