Pipeline Two-phase Flow Sand Concentration Monitoring based on Distributed Acoustic Sensing

Abstract

A non-invasive online method for pipeline sand connection detection based on dynamic peak-seeking is proposed and demonstrated. The test results show that the proposed method can identify the minimum sand concentration as low as 0.02%.
