Tuning Strategy for a Monolithically Integrated Unidirectional Vernier Dual-Ring InP Laser

Abstract

Wavelength mapping and calibration for a widely tunable laser utilizing Vernier micro-ring resonators are investigated. The laser achieves quasi-continuous tuning through reverse biasing the electro-optic phase sections.
