Highly efficient wide-angle blazed gratings enabled by metasurfaces

Abstract

We experimentally realize a wide-angle blazed grating based on metasurfaces, with an average efficiency of 64% over a very large incident angle range from -80° to 45°, which is unique for wide-angle functionalities.
