Abstract

Distributed Optical-Fibre Sensing (DOFS) provides the means by which the spatial and temporal behaviour of a range of physical fields may be determined. A variety of methods for implementing DOFS have been explored, each, as always is the case, with its own set of advantages and disadvantages.1,2
