Abstract

The efficiency of SHG and OPO operation for high rep-rate, high-averagepower laser beams is investigated. This efficiency depends on both laser and crystal parameters. For instance, for the OPO there are variable parameters such as input energy, length of the crystal, cavity length, seed power, crystal sort, etc. Emphasis is put on the effects of the thermal load of a BBO crystal.
