Abstract

We report on the investigation of the spectral properties of a noncritically phase-matched cw optical parametric oscillator (OPO) of kaliumtitanylphosphate (KTP). The OPO is pumped by a singlemode Tbsapphire laser. Because of the tunability of this pump source the wavelengths of the signal and idler waves are, in principle, tunable in the range of 1.05–1.37 μm and 2.2–3.1 μm. The collinear pumping maintains perfect alignment of the tuned OPO.
