Abstract
The lidar equation involves the two unknown properties of the atmosphere. Appropriate ambiguity problem of interpreting lidar measurement data is known. To solve the problem the new unconventional remote sounding techniques, for measuring the atmosphere properties without. traditional "a priori" assumptions have been developed. The lidar locaton and the scattering volume location are considered as independent variables of the lidar equation in the unconventional form.
