Abstract

The information about the atmospheric processes in the mountain valleys is important especially in the cases when industry exists there. Since the mountain-valley circulation is of local wind nature (closed cycle) the aerosol pollution is transported from one place to another inside the valley (i.e. the pollution remains in the valley). The essential parameter of the planetary boundary layer which effects the aerosol concentration is the mean height of the mixing layer.
