Abstract

Recent work involving Ytterbium doped calcium oxoborate hosts Yb:LCOB (L=Y or Gd) has demonstrated 90fs pulse generation using a low-temperature (LT) grown semiconductor absorber on a mirror structure (SESAM) [1].
