First results on ZnO thin films obtained by Femtosecond Pulsed Laser Deposition

Abstract

ZnO thin films have been grown on sapphire substrate by femtosecond PLD. The obtained deposits suggest that the number of droplets is not significant using fs pulses and that films homogeneity depends drastically on experimental conditions.
