Abstract
All solid-state radiation sources, tunable in the UV to near IR spectrum region, are in demand for many practical applications including spectroscopy, photochemistiy, ecology. We report here the creation of such a source which is based on the nonlinear-optical conversion (stimulated Raman scattering in barium nitrate crystals and harmonic generation) of the pulsed narrow-band tunable Ti:Sapphire (Ti:Sa) laser radiation.
