Abstract
In this paper, we report the first study of parametric generation and second harmonic generation in periodically poled titanium indiffused (Ti) [1] lithium niobate segmented waveguides. This has been achieved by inversing the two fabrication steps. First, Ti segmented waveguides were fabricated on Z-cut lithium niobate substrates. Then, electric field technique [2] was used for poling only the non-guiding regions (figures 1-a et 1-b).
