Abstract
Spontaneous parametric down-conversion provides a straightforward way of creating entangled photons. The standard way of uncovering this entanglement is by measuring, on a single-photon level, the correlation of the wave vector or polarization of the photons. This is usually accomplished by using single-photon-sensitive pointdetectors connected to a coincidence counter. To explore, for instance, entanglement in the spatial domain one of the detectors remains fixed while the other is scanned across the detection plane.
