Abstract

Neodymium doped gallium garnets are well known as efficient laser active crystals. The fluorescence lines corresponding to different Stark-Stark transitions 4F3/24I3/2 of Nd3+ ions are homogeneously broadened wider than 10 cm–1. Our aim was to obtain tunable radiation of Nd laser on the dominant lines around 1330 nm.
