Abstract

There are different explanations, which changes of physical properties of active medium answer for originating of four-wave mixing and, as a corollary, wavefront reversal. In our case the influence of self-effect of the intracavity beams was researched at usage of the auxiliary intracavity semitransparent mirror (R = 35%) with small declination (β = 0.25÷2.5 mrad). At the expense of reflection from it inside a resonator some sloping extending beams were appeared. These beams wrote an interference picture in the active rod and the spatial modulation of an emission power on a cross section of the output beam was derived (Fig. 1).
