Abstract
The fascination for miniature, active photonic devices led to never-ending efforts to realize high-brightness sources that are easy to tune and offer the possibility of on-chip integration. In this context, spectral engineering of spontaneous emission linewidths and wavelength selective enhancement becomes crucial to improve spectral purity. Resonant cavities and metasurfaces have been proven platforms because of their ability to modify the electromagnetic density of states and manipulate light-matter interaction [1-3].
