Abstract

There exists an increasing need of improved of technologies for the fabrication of photonic biosensors, due to their potential impact on industry and diagnosis. Features as label-free performance, miniaturization, and low-cost are desired to produce point-of-care biosensors. Here, we present a technique to fabricate diffractive molecular gratings on planar surfaces, that is, that could be easily adapted to disposable, chip-style biosensing devices.
