On-chip Ytterbium based Microwave to Optical Transducer

Abstract

Quantum transduction between microwave and optical photons is important for connecting remote superconducting quantum systems. We present preliminary microwave- to-optics transduction measurements using on-chip Yb3+:YVO4 with an integrated microwave resonator and optical waveguide.
