Electro-Optic Cavities for Quantum Transducers

Abstract

We explore resonant cavity electro-optic transduction systems, where the electromagnetic field of a small mode volume, high dielectric microwave resonator interacts with a Fabry-Pérot optical cavity filled with LiNbO3 to interconvert microwave and optical photons.
