Versatile power-efficient octave-spanning soliton crystals with high conversion in a Si3N4 microresonator

Abstract

We demonstrate various octave-spanning soliton crystals in a Si3N4 microresonator. The conversion efficiency can reach above 50% and the repetition rate (frep) can be tuned from 6 to 8 THz.
