Quasi-phase-matched electric-field-induced second-harmonic in gas-filled hollow-core PCF

Abstract

Quasi phase matched electric field induced second harmonic generation is demonstrated in Xe filled hollow core kagomé photonic crystal fiber. The system is used to frequency double femtosecond near infrared pulses, all signals being in the low loss fundamental mode.
