An Eigenchannel Theory for Super-Resolution Sensing with a Randomly Scattering Analyzer

Abstract

It has been established that a randomly scattering analyzer can give increased sensitivity to a changing incident field. We propose an explanation using random matrix theory and an eigenvalue decomposition of the transmission matrix.
