A Tunable VUV Frequency Comb for 229mTh Nuclear Spectroscopy

Abstract

We developed a tunable vacuum-ultraviolet frequency comb via cavity-enhanced 7th-harmonic generation. Its tunable spectrum covers a large fraction of the cur-rent 229mTh nuclear clock transition uncertainty range.
