Integrated All-Optical Controlled Amplitude Modulator Using Laser Delivered Signals

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate integrated all-optical controlled amplitude modulation. Range of 0.25 mW control power is used to tune 15 dB of the output optical intensity. The design is fabricated in a commercial silicon photonics process.
