Abstract

We demonstrate mode and polarization multiplexing of 3×2 channels for high-speed optical communication based on ultrafast laser inscribed on-chip mode (de)multiplexer. The mode (de)multiplexers are fabricated in glass chips through femtosecond laser direct writing technology.
