Abstract

We demonstrate a regenerative optomechanical oscillator operating at a high frequency of 375 MHz on lithium-niobate-on-insulator platform based upon a compact high-Q lithium niobate microdisk resonator with an intrinsic optical Qo of 2.2 × 105 and intrinsic mechanical Qm above 5000 in the air.
