Spectral Peaking in Ultrashort Pulse Fiber Lasers with Molecular Gas Cell

Abstract

We demonstrated spectral peaking phenomenon in fiber laser cavity for the first time. Ultrashort soliton pulse with multiple sharp spectral peaks were successfully generated in Er-doped SWNT fiber laser with HCN gas cell.
