Custom-tailored THz radiation generated by on-chip optical rectification in thin-film lithium niobate

Abstract

We demonstrate the arbitrary synthesis of THz waveforms based on integrated optical rectification in thin-film lithium niobate. The arrangement of THz antennas in logic circuits enables spectral and temporal control of the generated electric farfield.
