Multi-Channel Network of the Optical Hitless Wavelength-Selective Switches Using the MZI-Embedded MRR

Abstract

We demonstrate the multi-channel optical hitless wavelength-selective switches using the MZI-embedded MRR. The rising response time is about 4.8 µs and it can realize hitless rerouting of multi-wavelength signals without interruption.
