SiP based Hybrid Digital and Analog RoF mmWave 5G Transmission for Converged Optical Access Networks

Abstract

We demonstrate hybrid optical-access by transmission of a signal constituting baseband PAM-8, 10GHz WiGig and 27GHz 5GNR waveforms over a 10km RoF link and observe lowest BER of 1.1×10-3(PAM-8) and EVMs of 6.5%(WiGig) and 5.1%(5GNR).
