Self-starting, 3-element 1-GHz Kerr-lens Modelocked Ti:sapphire Laser Pumped by a Single Laser Diode

Abstract

We report a 1-GHz Kerr-lens-modelocked Ti:sapphire laser oscillator consisting of three elements and producing 111-fs pulses with an average output power >100 mW using one 1 W multi-mode green pump diode.
