High Resolving Power Arrayed Waveguide Grating with Spiral Reusable Delay Lines (SRDL-AWG)

Abstract

An arrayed waveguide grating with spiral reusable delay lines (SRDL-AWGs) with a resolving power of 111,330 is experimentally demonstrated. The device is over 100 times more compact than the traditional AWGs.
