Specifications for a Practical Long Range Remote Wind Sensor for Range Support Applications

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Specifications are presented for a conical scan, long range, pulsed laser velocimeter. The specifications represent a state-of-the-art design for an operational device to support testing at the national ranges. Emphasis is placed on efficient response to operational requirements rather than on the fabrication of a general purpose research tool.
