Observing Vorticella Feeding Currents with Digital In-Line Holography Particle Tracking

Abstract

We present a new application of compressive digital in-line holography for observing feeding currents of aquatic organisms (Vorticella). Our particle tracking system combines compressive holography and open-source tracking software, producing three-dimensional trajectories from holographic video.
