Image Phase Alignment Super-Sampling: a computational method for achieving super-resolution in macroscopic imaging

Abstract

Image Phase Alignment Super-Sampling is a method of processing slightly translated images. Simulations with a 16X scaling factor reveal the potential to obtain resolution well below the digital sampling limit of the original images.
