Optical Path Difference Determination by Means of Coherence Degree Measurement

Abstract

We measure the optical path difference of two interfering beams by means of the coherence degree determination with Photo Electro-Motive Force based detectors. This technique makes possible profile, thickness and index of refraction measurements.
