Non-hogel-based computer-generated hologram from perspective light field

Abstract

We propose a novel method to synthesize a hologram using perspective light field with high spatio-angular resolution and reduced computation time. The proposed method first calculates an intermediate non-hogel-based hologram by considering the perspective views as orthographic ones in the Fourier plane and then takes Fourier transform to obtain the final hologram. The numerical simulation results are presented for its verification.
